Meet renowned interior designer Beata Heuman
Beata Heuman is known for her unique style and sophisticated use of colour, pattern, and texture. With roots in Sweden and extensive experience in London, her style is a blend of elegance and playfulness. This fusion fully comes to life in her collaboration with Mille Notti.
A longstanding passion for quality
The collaboration merges Beata's creative freedom with Mille Notti's three decades of expertise, resulting in an exclusive collection of bedding. Beata recalls her first encounter with Mille Notti when founder Peder Wehtje gifted her bedlinen in crisp Percale at the age of 15 — a gift she still uses.
Creative freedom and timeless design
With an impressive portfolio including prestigious projects like the Hotel de la Boétie in Paris, Beata is accustomed to delivering the unexpected. Her creative freedom in collaboration with Mille Notti has resulted in a collection that not only looks fantastic but also feels incredibly luxurious. Beata explains:
"Mille Notti has given me great freedom in designing the collection, which is always wonderfully exciting as a designer, while also allowing me to rely on their nearly three decades of experience in terms of quality and manufacturing. I'm incredibly proud of the result, which I believe offers something new for both of us, and I hope customers will love it too."
The bedroom - harmony and function
For Beata, the bedroom is much more than just a place to sleep. It's a sanctuary where every detail contributes to creating harmony and comfort. She explains:
"This includes furniture such as bedside tables where needed, the right type of lighting that is both cosy and functional for reading, thoughtful storage to avoid clutter, and soothing colors. That said, the most important elements are undoubtedly the bed, sheets, duvets, and especially the pillows."
The renaissance of bedspreads
A well-made bed without a bedspread feels like an unfinished story, and with Beata's new collection, the bed gets the magnificent finale it deserves. Beata reflects:
"When I started thinking about what types of products, in addition to duvet covers and pillowcases, I thought could fit, bedspreads were a fairly obvious choice. I personally feel that a well-made bed feels incomplete without a bedspread, but I've gotten the impression that it's becoming less common to use them. The bed is always central in a bedroom, and a beautiful bedspread can give a dominant surface more character. In this collection, I've chosen colours and patterns that complement each other, so everything can be combined in various ways."
